Meet Onora — Your Private AI Assistant
Onora is the first assistant built on Guardian. Conversational, context-aware, and private by default.
Every AI assistant today asks you to make a trade-off: capability in exchange for your data. You get a powerful tool, but your conversations become training data, your patterns become product insights, and your information lives on servers you have no visibility into. We built Onora because we think that trade-off is unnecessary.
Onora is a conversational AI assistant built entirely on the Guardian platform. She follows Guardian's privacy-first architecture, processes your data with strong privacy safeguards, and gives you full control over what is stored and what is deleted. By default, nothing is retained after your session ends. If you want persistent memory across conversations, you can enable it — explicitly, with a clear audit trail.
What makes Onora different is not just where she runs. It is how she understands context. Onora builds a working model of how you think and communicate. She adapts her tone, depth, and approach to match your style over time. She remembers what you worked on last week without you having to explain it again. She handles complex multi-step tasks — research, drafting, analysis, coding — with the kind of continuity that makes her feel less like a tool and more like a collaborator.
She is not trying to be everything to everyone. Onora is built for people who take their work seriously and want an assistant that respects the sensitivity of what they do.
Onora is available now at onora.app. It runs in the browser — no app install required. Mobile is coming shortly after launch.
